Property Assessments
Property Assessments encourages local solutions for wildfire safety by involving homeowners,
community leaders, planners, developers, firefighters and others in the effort to protect people and
property from the risk of wildfires.
One of the steps Summit Fire District has taken is to offer a free property inspection. In this
inspection, we will determine the potential dangers of wildfire on your property and in your
neighborhood. After the assessment, we will discuss our recommendations. Most of our
recommendations are based off of national standards developed by Firewise. For more information or
