Burn Permits
Summit Fire District requires that all
residents have a
Burn Permit issued
from Summit Fire District before
performing any residential controlled
burns.  

Red Flags Flying at the Fire Stations
by the National Weather Service.  A Red
Flag Warning is a forecast warning
issued by the United States National
Weather Service to tell area firefighting
and land management A Red Flag flying
at the Fire Station means that “A Red Flag
Warning” has been issued by the
National Weather Service.  A Red Flag
Warning is a forecast warning issued by
the United States National Weather
Service to tell area firefighting and land
management agencies that conditions
are ideal for wildland fire ignition and
propagation.  Outdoor burning is banned
during periods of Red Flag Warnings.

Property Assessments
A free property inspection.  In this
inspection, we will determine the
potential dangers of wildfire on your
property and in your neighborhood.

Information Request
To request information from Summit Fire
department including; Incident Report,
Budget Report etc.,  please complete the
Information Request Form and e-mail, fax
or bring the form in to the
Administration

Assistance with Your Child Car Safety
Seat
Need help installing a car seat? We’re
here to help! The Summit Fire
Department is pleased to assist our
community with car seat safety
inspections and installations by
appointment only.  To schedule an
appointment call 928-526-9537.  For

Chimney Brush and Poles
Chimney brush and poles are available
for loan to residence of Summit Fire
District. They are available at all the
Summit Fire Stations.  Brushes come in
4", 6" and 8" sizes and poles come in 3
foot lengths.  To locate a certified sweep,

0118. .

Sand Bags
Sand bags are available at the north end
of the Silver Saddle Store (Hwy 89 and
Silver Saddle Road) and at
Station 32
and 33  Please call to check on
availability.  

Honor Guard
We are honored to assist and participate
in memorial services for deceased public
safety personnel throughout the region.

Station Tours
This is a great way to meet your local
firefighters as well as learn how a fire
station operates. Any community group or
individual is welcome to arrange a tour of
a local Summit Fire Department station.

Ride-alongs
Summit Fire District offers ride-along
experiences for the District's citizens as
well as students in EMS, Nursing and
Fire Academy programs. Participants
must be 18 years or older.
