Help
For Special Events
As many of you know each year the fire department puts on
special events like the Halloween Party, Santa's Visit etc.
This year we would like to thank those who helped us with the
Halloween Party, we had a lot of fun. We need help however to
continue these events. In many cases it is the same people who
have put these events on, in some cases for 20 years. We need
your help to continue to offer these events. Please consider
either signing up to help us for specific events or consider
becoming a part of our Auxiliary. Call our offices for more
information.
Cookbooks
The auxiliary has cookbooks with recipes from area residents
for sale for $10.00 each. Not only do they have yummy
recipes to try they have a section in the back with cooking
tips, herbs and spices, baking breads and desserts, vegetables and fruits, napkin folding etc. You may purchase these
cookbooks from Auxiliary members or at station 32 on Koch Field
Road.
The Summit Fire Dept. Auxiliary meets the second Wednesday of every
month at the Station on Hwy 89. We would love to have new members
from our community.
We had a great time at the Halloween party handing out candy bags
and playing games. The cake walk was a hit. We are now working
with grandparents raising grandkids. Right now we are putting
together candy bags for kids who come to visit Santa at the
Firehouse on December 18, 2004. If anyone would like to help, we
would love to hear from you.
If you have any good ideas to improve our community or if you, your
friend or neighbor needs our help, please call Tina or Dotti at the
Fire Dept. and they will let us know. (526-9537)
