Honor Guard

























    History:

    Summit Fire initially started the process of forming our Honor Guard in
    2007. In mid-2009, the first six members were selected.  We are honored
    to assist and participate in memorial services for deceased public safety
    personnel throughout the region.

    Mission Statement:

    It is the mission of the Summit Fire Department Honor Guard to
    represent the department, firefighters, and other public safety personnel,
    past, present and future, with honor and respect at distinguished
    ceremonies and funerals.  This will be accomplished through drilling
    in military etiquette and discipline.
